Temprament
Related to the Bichons, a Coton has a friendly, gentle, affectionate and alert temprament. They are very sociable that get along well with children, other dogs and even other animals. Very attached to his home and master they always wnat to be in their presence. Cotons will do anything to please and make a fairly good watchdog. Easily trained, they will perform tricks and are full of surprises. One of their most endearing traits is a tendency to jump onto their hind legs and actually walk several steps. Ocassionally Cotons can be stubborn since they have a mind of their own.
